According to a supposed leak, a new Mario sports game is currently in development by Camelot, which has a history of developing Mario sports titles, including the most recent, Mario Tennis Aces. So far, Super Mario 3D World Deluxe is the only Mario title officially confirmed for 2021, but there are others that have been rumored. The game is set to release on February 12 along with a new expansion, Bowser's Fury. It's also worth noting that, unlike the Wii U version, 3D World will have online multiplayer on Switch. Originally released on the Wii U, 3D World is seen by some as one of the most underrated Mario titles of the past few years. Announced back in September, Super Mario 3D World Deluxe will be heading to the Switch in 2021. However, fans already know when they can get their hands on the next Mario title. While 2020 may have been his 35th anniversary, every year is the year of Mario for Nintendo, and 2021 doesn't seem like it will be any exception.
